据传说，在明代洪武时期的Fanghan（1368-1399 A.D.）中，柿树在Fanghan培养。Fangshan County Chronicle compiled in the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620 A.D.) recorded that "persimmons are the main products of this mirror, such as Hetaogou in the northwest, Zhangfanggou in the southwest, no villages do not have. Fangshan is the largest seller of Beijing, and its size is like a fist, its sweetness is like honey". It was awarded as a royal tribute by Emperor Zhudi.
